Hello and Happy November y'all! Hard to believe we only have a couple more months left before we enter into 2023! But, let me back up a little and wish everyone a Happy Thanksgiving! I know we're all looking forward to a day spent with family and friends, or even just a little extra time to ourselves.
While you're thinking about what you're going to do over the long Thanksgiving weekend, take a moment to check out the link to this month's newsletter below. I've included an article about safety features for your pool, a man who likes to thaw his turkey in his swimming pool, and some ideas for Thanksgiving (should you need a few!). If you have any questions, or comments, you can drop me a line at kitt@sweetwaterpoolandpatio.com. I would love to hear from ya! Until next time! What? Fall already? Wasn't it just summer? Wait, we're in Texas. It still feels pretty summery out there! Which, for a lot of us, is a good thing! If you're like me, you're not ready to put those sandals up in the closet yet and fish out any fall/winter clothes!
This month our newsletter features the deepest diving pool in the world, information about stray voltage in pools, and some things to do in the Houston area this fall. Also, wanted to remind y'all to check those pool and spa heaters! This is a great time to do it before you decide to crank it up and use the spa or swim in a nice, warm pool. Keep us in mind should you need any spa products as we have oodles in stock! And, with leaf season upon us, be sure to check your skimmer bags and cleaner bags regularly to see if they may need to be emptied. Have any questions or comments? You can email Kitt directly at kitt@sweetwaterpoolandpatio.com or call us at 713-665-4441. Happy Labor Day weekend, everyone! Here's hoping you're able to squeeze some time in pool side rain or no rain in the forecast! It's that time of year when summer is winding down and we'll be rolling on into fall (and dare I say it?) pumpkin spice everything and anything. I saw some of you roll your eyes! Whether you love it, hate it, or are somewhere in between here we are.
This month's newsletter includes some ideas for the Labor Day Weekend, an article about an artist who features water movement in her paintings, and also an article about pool design. Please note that on September 1st we switched over to our fall/winter hours. We're now open 9 AM until 5 PM weekdays and 9 AM until 3 PM on Saturdays. Our office is open from 8 AM until 5 PM weekdays. Either give us a call at 713-665-4441 or drop us an email at info@sweetwaterpoolandpatio.com if you have any questions or if there's anything we can assist you with. Until next month! Greetings and Happy August!
They say that the "Dog Days of Summer" are from July 3rd thru August 11th. Honestly, I don't think Texas received that memo since we've been sizzling since sometime in May! Soon kids will be going back to school much to both the relief and frustration of parents out there! Hey, I saw some of you out there already shopping for school supplies! When taking a break from all of that, or the summer heat, how about checking out this month's newsletter by clicking on the link below. By the way, don't forget to take a much needed (and deserved) dip in your lovely pool! Happy 4th of July, everyone!
Wishing everyone a fun and safe holiday! While you're kicking back over the long weekend be sure to check out the link to this month's newsletter below.
